What’s going on in Weymouth in April 2022

Spring is in the air and we are embracing it!  The evenings are getting lighter giving us more hours to enjoy ourselves.  We’ve been searching for events for all during April and have not been let down by Weymouth so we hope you can attend and show your support.

 

9 April 1030am and 24 April 4pmThe Nothe Fort is having an Easter Egg Hunt for all the Family. Hunt for the Easter Eggs, including the unique Golden Egg; or count the elusive Easter Bunnies?

There will also be fun for the older members of the family too when you explore the Fort’s parade ground and ramparts to discover the fascinating Easter facts and solve our Easter Quiz!

 

Weymouth Pavillion have a number of shows of interest this month which include Weymouths’ own theatre youth group WOW’s version of Grease perfect for the school holidays showing 13-16 April.

17th – Dinosaur Adventure 

21st – The Shires 

22nd – Wizard of Oz

3 April – There’s a Craft Fair at The Palm House between 9.30am and 4.30pm selling various items – great for gift.

10 April – Get yourself to Weymouth Town Centre  for the Farmers & Makers Market selling a wide selection of produce and crafts – on between 10am and 3pm.

16 – 17 April – The famous Quayside Music Festival at Rendezvous, by the Town Bridge on the harbourside – if you can’t find it just listen out and you will hear some amazing live music with a buzzing scene.

29 April – Comedy Night by Heckle & Squelch Comedy Club at The Springhead, Sutton Poyntz 8pm – 10pm.  Highly recommended so get your tickets quickly!

Hungry? Every Wednesday at The Belvedere are offering 2 x Steaks & Wine for £35.50 or 2 x Burgers for only £15!  Thursdays Happy Hour  between 6.30pm to 8.30pm!  The Belvedere is going to be the place to go throughout April with something going on every evening from Open Mic nights every Monday, Quiz & Games every Tuesday and various live bands blasting out sounds in between.  There’s even a roast dinner available on Sundays!
